Reina

Meet Reina, the newest member at Infinity Ranch! Reina is an approximately 19-year-old BLM Mustang with a story that speaks to strength and survival. We rescued her from the Bowie Livestock Auction in October 2024, where she was at risk of being shipped to slaughter. While much of her history is unknown, we were told she had been used for breeding and likely came from the Nevada Herd Management Area.

When Reina arrived at our sanctuary, she was in poor health and emotionally shut down. She showed clear signs of severe stress—pacing relentlessly and throwing her head in distress. She was terrified of human contact and unsure of everything around her.

With time, patience, and consistent gentle care, Reina began to heal. Today, she is a different horse—calm, comfortable, and thriving. She’s learning to trust, and she now enjoys a life of peace, security, and dignity.

Reina will live out the rest of her days here at our sanctuary, surrounded by safety and love.
